Faidley
Evan Faidley is a lifelong student and leader in career development, higher education, and the arts of foreign language and culture. He holds positions in the realm of higher education as a Career Coordinator; adjunct faculty and curriculum creator of French; and overall advocate for career development. He is in the latter portion of his Ph.D. program in Higher Education Administration, and previously pursued an M.Ed. in Higher Education & Student Personnel and an M.A. in French Literature, which have been brought together to spark new interests in teaching, research, and service.

HIGHER EDUCATION: Skilled in learning management (LMS) systems designing for user friendliness, facilitating career development and constructive dialogue in student interactions, qualitative and quantitative research, leadership.
FRENCH: French popular culture, sociolinguistics, international business and French translation, French-Canadian culture and language.
As a former member and vast knowledge attained of commercial aspects for high school students who wish to pursue business, I attest to meetings with local high schools in the Akron area who participate in Business Professionals of America (BPA). In my advisement, I guide students to better understand the search for employment, the composition of business and marketing plans, and the niche for public speaking.
As a judge for yearly competitions that occur at the Spring Leadership Conference (March) in Columbus, Ohio, I witness and critique the successors to regional competitions who then can make it to the National Leadership Conference (NLC), where all states compete against each other. Ranging from my personal experiences in Prepared Speech to Global Marketing, I partake in the analysis and awarding of qualified teenagers who demonstrate commercial competencies.
Offer screening occurs once a year in Columbus, Ohio, where nearly 100 students introduce themselves in a test of public speech, extemporaneous questions, and their professional portfolio. The task at hand it to narrow down the lot of students into the top 14 who would be represent the Ohio Association and seek to support the organization's visions.
