Based in the Washington, DC region, Erin is an office manager by day, and theatre artist by night.
After administrative positions in both the finance industry and the college environment, Erin began work full-time at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Kensington, managing daily operations, membership, volunteers, statistical reporting, web and in-house print publications, and assisting with charitable engagement in the community.
Previously, she worked as adjunct theatre faculty at Shepherd University (Shepherdstown WV), the University of Maryland (College Park MD), Loyola University of Maryland (Baltimore MD), and Trinity Washington University (DC).
As a theatre artist, Erin is dedicated to a collaborative process and building strong teams. She is still an associate company member with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company (Baltimore MD), where she directed The Importance of Being Earnest and assists on numerous projects. Erin maintains an additional presence in theatre work by directing and designing at Silver Spring Stage and chairing the season selection committee. She has also been on the literary and script selection committees for Ford's Theatre and Source Festival, directing staged readings for the Arena Stage Edward Albee Festival, served as board member of the Pallas Theatre Collective, and taught youth camps and workshops in playwriting, character development, and auditioning.
Associate Company Member
Theatre artist working behind the scenes as a director, assistant director, and dramaturg. Most recent work includes directing The Importance of Being Earnest and as assistant director on The Winter's Tale (with artist-in-residence Isabelle Anderson), The Merry Wives of Windsor (with founding director Ian Gallanar), and Antony & Cleopatra (with guest director Ralph Alan Cohen). Additional work in historical research, text and language coaching, and facilitating audience talk-backs.
Graduate Assistant
Duties vary semester to semester, but included instructor of record for two years of Theatre History and Script Analysis courses, office work, miscellaneous guest lectures, and three semesters as Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Theatre classes.
Adjunct Professor of Theatre
Teaching theatre minors and general studies students in classes on Introduction to Theatre and Acting, voice and movement coaching, and directing students in department-sponsored theatrical productions.

Overseeing teams of volunteers; designing, writing, and/or editing in-house and web publications; maintaining membership database and records; general office management.
