Erin Jordan O’Donnell has a unique multi-disciplinary experience, in International Agricultural Sales, Engineering Management, Product Development Engineering, University Science Education and Science Research. The common thread in this experience is creative problem solving, developing lasting relationships with key stakeholders, and a passion for learning new skills.
She is multi-talented and deeply driven individual committed to the success of whatever she puts herself into.
Erin is a third-generation engineer and began her career in Physics, earning her B.S. in Physics from California State University, Chico where she was awarded the prestigious Floyd English College of Natural Sciences Scholarship. As a Martin Fisher Fellow, Erin earned her M.S. in Physics from Brandeis University. She excelled as a product development engineer at Intel Corporation, receiving promotions three times in four years and placed on an accelerated path to leadership.
In 2014, Erin found herself in a unique opportunity to run her own business and test her entrepreneurial spirit within a completely different industry. Erin is a native Californian and grew up around specialty agricultural crops, so making the jump to agriculture, while a very different experience, was not totally unfamiliar. She began promoting and selling premium California agricultural products such as California Calrose rice, Sprouted rice and Sake rice through her company, Sierra Foods, LLC. She found immediate success in this new venture with gross sales over $8 Million in her first year and continuing to grow the business at 12% per year.
Erin is extraordinarily unique in her experience and success throughout the Tech industry as well as the Agricultural sales industry. Erin is most passionate about spending her time on things that truly matters in this world and will make an impact in people’s lives.
