Awful

If you are a Sociology student, find another class to take. He does not care if his students pass his course or not. You will get a failing grade if you do not participate in class or if he asks you a question and you do not know what he is talking about. I have taken his class several time but only now for credit. If you suck up to him, he will give you his power point slides which are, in reality, his midterm and final exams.

Average

Class participation REALLY matters in this class and I wish someone told me this earlier. He will hold it against you if you don't actively participate. If public speaking isn't a problem for you, you will be fine because you will really have to talk in class to get a good grade. Papers were very hard and he only graded on a few. Deep down inside, he has a good heart though.
