Prof. Hill was an amazing bio prof. He clearly explained every concept in class and he even highlights important terms. He makes the class entertaining with memes and stories as well. Exams and quizzes can be hard, so studying is really important. He's always accessible during office hours and he helps a lot with confusing topics!

Professor Hill is your best pick for general biology 1. His test are very straight forward and he wants you to pass. You have to study a lot though. So if you put in the work, you can get an A. If you don't study you will fail. Ask him what will be on the test and he will tell you. He's very helpful and kind outside of class too. Also, online homework helps so much for the test.

Prof. Hill is honestly the best bio prof I've ever taken! I did terrible in AP Bio, but Prof. Hill is extremely thorough in his lectures. Exams are over lecture notes. Sometimes, quiz questions also come up, so I suggest you really review it. Personally, I'd skim over the book to better understand the material. Also, go to his office hours and take time to get to know him.

Dr. Hill is one of SHU's best bio professors. Bio is undeniably challenging, but Erik Hill is the professor who can make it doable. His examinations are exceptionally fair, and honestly much better to those of Dr. Tall. Use his office hours to your advantage! He informs you of the test questions. In person or via email, ask him questions! To learn the content, study the textbook. Put in effort!

GenBio II was a difficult subject, and he makes you work hard to get a good mark. Professor Hill was extremely patient and accommodating when it came to presenting the challenging topics that this course entailed. The tests account for 95% of your mark, and while his lectures go are very detailed, the book is very helpful in studying for them.

Professor Hill, always goes beyond. So if you have any questions, he's always willing to answer. He's very understanding and incredibly passionate about biology. I didn't do well in his class, but he's an amazing professor. He deserves to be tenured. If you take it, take the launchpad quizzes before each exam and read the textbook.

Professor Hill is my favorite. The class was composed of four major exams. This course is tough, but he really made the material easier for us to learn. Also, he offers ample office hours and is always available via email. He even made his own memes for the lectures. Overall, I highly recommend his class, but don't complain about all the studying that you'll do.

I love Science, before going to Professor Hill's class. He doesn't respect his students. He will not care to help you in anyways. He's not understanding as well. All he did is to make you feel unconfident and will not make any exceptions on the syllabus. I would never take him as a teacher again.

Professor Hill is very rude and unprofessional. He has no concern for student well-being and teaches his course with strict guidelines. He has turned more people away from biology, rather than he has encouraged. I would not recommend his classes.

Professor Hill shows little to no respect for students. I had him for General Biology 1 and I did fine. However, General Biology 2 was a different story. Exams were full of trick questions, and students were given no exception under any circumstances. Unfortunately, he believes that failing students was the best way for them to learn, and would rather see us fail than pass.

Professor Hill is very tough. Information during lectures was too much. In addition, he only grades you based on four exams.
