Awesome
Dr. Baer's class was very difficult but she was available to answer my questions and she helped me see my mistakes. There are still some areas that I am struggling with. She gave me an extra credit question which helped my GPA. I would definitely sign up for her class again.
Good
Professor Baer was just wonderful, really one of my favorites in the department of criminal justice. She was very clear on her grading expectations and she gave great feedback to help students get better.
Poor
Professor Baer's class is not something that should be offered in a mini semester. I did it in summer A. The lessons are way too hard and her pacing is too fast. The teacher would never tell me what I did wrong when I asked about my labs. All she would do is post the notes with the answer solutions after the due date. Honestly, this teacher needs work.
Average
This is one of the hardest lessons I've taken. The professor herself was good, responsive and I never had any real problems with her in particular. But, I took this course as a mini class and it was much too fast paced and difficult. I was very close to leaving this course on my first day, but I got stuck and finished. This is the worst six weeks of college that I had. Good luck.
Good
Material can be a little challenging, so try not to fall behind on class. It would really help to make use of the exers because it has all the labs with step-by-step process. She's very responsive and helpful as well! Class is based on labs that you're also allowed unlimited attempts and a semester project. Also, she gives you multiple times to resubmit work, so go and take her!
Good
Professor Baer gives a lecture every week. However, I can't say it's been incredibly helpful for homework. Her powerpoints were more useful than her lectures. Participation in classes is required for a good grade. The class consists of three main exams. If you do not do well on them, your score will be deducted. She offers to help as well. As far as mathematics classes are concerned, this is a very simple course.
