Poor
Prof. Walker's class is a lot of work. She gives about 2 weekly project and you will really struggle if you fall behind. She's also a tough grader. I feel like I deserve an A in her class, but due to her grading criteria, I got a B.

Curriculum and Instruction
When I began teaching in the Graphic Communications department I came from industry rather than academia. Because of this, I had a lot of questions about effective teaching and student-learning in the higher education setting. With an emphasis in learning technologies and entrepreneurial education, I began to pursue a doctorate to better understand effective teaching methods, curriculum development, and research methodology. My dissertation titled- Opportunities for Innovation: Games-based Learning in Engineering Senior Design- was published in a traditional format and online as a website with videos and open educational resources.
Masters Degree
Graphic Communications
Joining Clemson's Department of Graphic Communciation as a master's student opened up a broad range of visual arts and business opportunities. Print is a multi-billion dollar industry and GC extended my visual tools from just film to graphic design, layout, color theory, and web design and complimented those skills with a heavy emphasis in marketing and business.

BFA
Film Production
Boulder's film production BFA offered the opportunity to study under some of the great, creative film makers of the time. In the program, each student wrote, directed, produced, edited, and presented 8mm and 16mm short films as well as taking courses in film history and critical film theory. The advantage to this program was the chance to explore filmmaking from an artistic perspective and participate in every part of producing short films rather than focusing on a single role from the filmmaking process.
