My doctoral research uses behavioral
anatomical
and electrophysiological methods to investigate the organization and fundamental operating principles of the anuran visual system. The frog's visual system seems to be composed of two separate and independent modules responsible for the recognition of two classes of stimuli — moving and stationary — my research goal is to gain insight into how frogs visually recognize and respond to stationary aspects of their environment.\n\nAs mammalian anatomy lab instructor I am responsible for organizing and overseeing lab sections of 20 students. The lab consists of animal dissection and observation.\n\nAs mammalian physiology lab instructor I am responsible for overseeing and implementing live animal physiological experiments and evaluating students' performances.
