No homework, but the tests and quizzes are heavy. The lectures are good and he's a pretty funny guy. You can talk to him outside of class and you're given multiple contacts for him.
Good
I had Dr. Sampson for both A&P I-II - with labs - and he was fantastic. You can definitely get an A, but you'll have to work for it. What you put into it is what you get out of it. There is no homework because he reads directly from the textbook. He is always prepared to assist you and re-explain whatever you don't understand. His teaching technique, however, is not for everyone.
Awesome
Look no further, Prof Sampson is the best. He cares about his students and is also very funny. He's clear on what is expected of the class. As with most classes, you get what you put in. I strongly recommend this professor.
Poor
I took the A&P 2 Lab with this professor. Honestly, he was the toughest teacher I've had here. He often gives surprise quizzes and the tests are challenging. Expect a fair bit of homework too. You have to study on your own time if you want to stand any chance of passing. Sometimes, he can be pretty harsh to students. I'm in my final semester, so believe me, he's not the teacher you want if your goal is to succeed.

He's pretty hilarious and his classes go by quickly. However, he just goes over the digital textbook during his lectures. You only get 3 quizzes and 4 tests, each having 50-100 questions. So, if you mess up on one, you're in trouble. If you actually want to learn something, this class might not be the best choice. You might be better off taking it online, unless you like having someone read to you.
