Investigate reports of alleged violations of the University’s Sexual Misconduct Policy. Write investigative reports and communicate findings to parties and relevant University stakeholders. Assist in coordinating the provision of resources and support services for individuals involved in reports of sexual or gender-based harassment and misconduct. Oversee the database related to reports of sexual and/or gender-based harassment and misconduct, and develop reports, assess trends, and identify areas of concern in the campus environment. Assist with reviewing and revising policies and procedures related to incidents of sexual and gender-based harassment or misconduct to ensure with compliance with the law and alignment with best practices. Deliver training, and support campus Title IX efforts. Previous experience responsible for coordination of Title IX investigations, policy development, and prevention and education related to Title IX, Title VII, ADA, Affirmative Action. Additional background is in human rights work including investigations of child abuse, EEO and ADA complaints. Focus has been on enhancing policies where the legal and social service delivery system converge, such as in sexual assault, intimate-partner violence, sexual harassment, student conduct, and quality of life/wellness policies. Academic interest in project working on school board diversity representation related to electoral models and child welfare special education advocacy models. Also have four years experience as a faculty member and presented at several conferences in the areas of school board diversity/electoral models, social work ethics and education, Title IX, as well as writing and receiving grants.
Also, a certified mediator. In my current position, I am responsible for policy development, training and education on issues of sexual harassment and misconduct across campus as well as working with Human Resources on AA/EEO issues.
