Professor Wise is one of my favorite professors at Brigham Young University. He is a master of the subject matter and I was stunned by how much he knew. I was worried art history would be boring but he made it one of my favorite classes ever. I looked forward to every lecture and was sad when the class was over. He is very understanding and willing to talk if you ever have any issues. I give his teaching a 10/10.

Professor Wise is so passionate about art history, that it makes the course really interesting. He talks fast, so you have to be prepared to take a lot of notes. As long as you listen in class, you'll be well prepared for the test. The test is an essay, that makes it difficult if you will not study. Also, the teacher assistants are really strict graders.

Doctor Wise's lectures are fascinating. He opens your eyes to all sorts of stuff in art, that you've never seen before. Actually, I enjoy viewing or analyzing art now. The class itself is quite tense, but it mostly comes in spurts. The two papers and the three weekends before exams can be brutal. However, this means that the remaining weeks are quite cool. I suggest that you must take a lot of notes.

Professor Wise is absolutely incredible as a person and as a professor. His content is challenging, but he truly cares about the wellbeing and understanding of his students.
