Over the past 20 years I have dedicated my time and effort in the field of education, including the sectors of: corporate, public school, and now, higher education. In addition to being an educator, I also have a passion for business ownership, having grown-up with both parents being business owners and entrepreneurs themselves.

Early on, I began working in corporate America in areas of sales, service and training for both residential and commercial clients. My desire for business ownership and an education soon led me to receive my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Missouri State University. After having graduated, I became co-owner in our family owned and operated business with my husband. All the while, I continued to work in my field of expertise as a high school business educator in public education sector.

My experience as a business education teacher has now transitioned from teaching in public high schools to instructing students in higher education at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, Missouri. I am so blessed to be working with an amazing group of educators and students in a field I love and enjoy!
