Dr. Potter organized research teams with Dr. Duara and colleagues to publish papers that described clinical research of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and a computer-based Visual Rating System for detecting early stages of Alzheimer’s disease in elderly subjects. This research generated 13 papers accepted for publication by peer-reviewed scientific journals
including a paper published in Neurology (2008). Dr. Potter Interpreted brain MRIs of elderly patients for Visual Rating System (VRS)-related papers that were published. Dr. Potter organized
edited and submitted all VRS papers for publication by peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Potter organized
edited and submitted grant applications to private and government research funding agencies with two research grants being funded. She collaborated with residents
researchers and physicians and mentored college and graduate students from Mt. Sinai Medical

Harvard Hospital (2009). Dr. Potter was awarded a research grant funding the study of visual rating of brain MRIs by the Byrd Center for Alzheimer’s Center & Research Institute (2007).
