If you like math, Dr. O'Shea is the best choice in the department. He expects you to show up and put in work and he cares deeply about his teaching. Rewards are plentiful, though YMMV. I recommend taking him.

I'm a bit late to rate Professor O'Shea, but he was really good. He expects quite a bit of participation. I won't lie, I was pretty worried about my grade at the beginning of the course. However I improved quite a bit. I am taking a 232 with him, so that something about how much I recommend him!
