I serve Stockton University as Tutoring Center Coordinator for Graduate and First-Year Student Support and Atlantic City Projects. In this capacity, I teach in General Studies (mainly first-year writing), coordinate tutoring for graduate students and at satellite campuses, and train undergraduate writing tutors. In my spare time, I can be found reading, admiring my cats Jimmie and Meeka, and talking to my houseplants.
Head Writing Tutor
Trained students—particularly at-risk students—in writing methods. Worked regularly with these students to improve their ability and confidence in writing. Assisted the coordinator of the Writing Center by helping to plan and run tutor meetings, counseling new tutors, creating documents for tutor use, and managing Writing Center Facebook page.

Working with graduate students to improve their writing. Serving as liaison between Tutoring Center and School of Graduate Studies, as well as individual graduate programs. Teaching in First-Year Studies and General Studies. Coordinating of tutoring at satellite campuses.
Residential Coordinator—Educational Opportunity Fund
Oversaw, for a five-week period, the residential aspects—student housing, wellness, and behavior, for example—of 76 incoming freshmen in order to better prepare them for college life. Collaborated with partners and other professional staff to prevent and solve students’ problems. Tutored students to relieve their academic burdens and their tutors’ work-related burdens as well.
Student Senate Vice President
Managed 22 other senators—including, but not limited to, involvement and progress, attendance, and constitutional violations. Continued working with members of the Stockton administration to improve the student experience.
Writing Tutor—Educational Opportunity Fund
Functioned as a writing tutor, resident assistant, and teacher’s assistant for a five-week period each summer; instructed, advised, and tutored up to 76 incoming freshmen.
Adjunct Instructor
Instructing students enrolled in College Writing. Improving students' abilities and confidence in college-level academics and expectations through reading and writing assignments pertaining to the theme of otherness in the United States.
Interim Writing Center Liaison to Graduate Studies
Working with the School of Graduate Studies to monitor graduate students' writing needs; tutoring these students to improve their confidence and abilities as writers.
Activity Leader
Acclimated freshmen to college life; promoted attendance and ensured the smooth running of Welcome Week activities and Stockton Outdoor Adventure Retreat (SOAR), a three-day camping trip with approximately 250 freshmen.

Instructing students enrolled in Developmental Writing. Improving students' abilities and confidence in college-level academics through assigned readings and writings, class discussions, and lectures.

-Recognized by Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, 2013 and 2014.
-Served as Writing Tutor for three years, working especially with students in FRST (Basic Studies) courses.
-Wrote and unofficially published *Tutor to Tutor*, a guidebook for Stockton's writing tutors.
-Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Literature Program with a GPA of 3.96. Minored in Philosophy and Writing.
-Engaged in research related to New Jersey culture and history. Contributed to *Sandy Shorts*, the official newsletter of the South Jersey Culture and History Center, and an installation in the college library. Helped electronically publish a 19th-century New Jersey text.
