O'Neill
Greater New York City Area
I have a passion for building technology products and services that foster rapid growth for institutes of higher education. Working with engineers, product managers, stakeholders of all levels, and front-line users, I enjoy synthesizing their needs and desires into a cohesive vision, forming a strategy to meet that vision, and then executing that strategy with the highest possible fidelity and flexibility.
The best part about my work at Relay GSE is the shared mission - we're all working within our respective areas of expertise to close the opportunity gap, and bring the best education possible to the highest number of students.
Director of Internal Applications
As the product manager for two of our custom-built Web applications (our content management system and student information system), I manage two independent but significant backlogs while driving their respective roadmaps from inception to successful launch.
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, I I translate complex functional needs into shovel-ready requirements for an Agile team of software engineers. I communicate with each functional team, capturing their processes and folding them in to future releases.
Director of Products
I work to ensure all of Relay's software (both homegrown and off-the-shelf) meets the needs of our users (both staff and students).
Senior Director of Technology Products and Services
In this role, I...
* Define, socialize, and communicate Relay’s product investment strategy;
* Manage a team of product owners, software engineers, and support personnel to ensure Relay's platforms are meeting the high expectations set by our staff, students, and faculty;
* Set standards for the lifecycle of product ownership at Relay: from research and identification, to implementation and project management, through support and the eventual steady-state
