Awful

I'm going to burst the bubble and tell you not to take this man's class. You're not going to get a thing out of it, and you'll end up with a mediocre grade. Sources and citation are absolutely necessary with this man. I wish I could have liked him, but I definitely don't.

Prof. Shields' class is an easy A, but his lectures are horrible and heavy class to attend. I actually got an A just because it's nothing but a bunch of easy to answer online questions and a few projects. However, the classes are really awful. I actually messed around on my phone every class and just tuned out. I personally think attendance shouldn't be mandatory here.

Profesor Shiels is really good and explained the lectures very well.
