Doctor Arries' lectures are long and slow and he was hard to follow at times. However the textbook readings that he assigned really helped me to do well in his class. I just studied the textbook, not his lectures, and I did fine. The grading criteria for the group paper is easy to follow. To help boost your grades, there is a second optional midterm.
