Class was hard. It was not a freshman class. Dylan drives you too hard. He appears harsh in class. If you go into his office he may be very helpful. He gave me a good critique and made me a better student.

As long as you stay caught up on all readings, this class will be easy for you. He assigns a reading every single time you meet in class and he gives quizzes on random days. Since this is a lit class, expect to read a lot. He will call you out if you don't participate and he will also mark you absent if you don't pay attention when he's talking.

Prof. Parkhurst is really great, he made discussing books fun. I usually hate being assigned to read books, but the things he gave us to read were really interesting and I would read them again. The only thing is that there is a LOT to read, so you have to give yourself time to read and maybe discuss with classmates or him if you don't understand some of the texts.
