Professor Carmichael was a very educated man. Spending a semester with him will enable you to discuss audit in a very intellectual manner that is useful for future interviews. Just make sure to listen on how he speaks. Exam questions were verbatim based on his lectures in class. Also, he lets us out early. Curved by 12 points with entire letter grade at the end of the semester.

Accounting 5400 course was purely conceptual. You won't do well in this course without reading and understanding. All the professors make up their own questions. Unlike Professor Barton and Professor Ray, whose questions are multiple correct answers, Professor Carmichael's answers were the same words he lectured in the class. Just pay attention and you will be fine. He is also great for letters of rec!
