Lectures of Professor Stokes can be boring sometimes. There were two individual projects, a midterm and one final group project. Midterm is dense and hard. Projects also required a lot of detail and effort. However, I learned a lot of important information and I'm glad I took his class. He's nice and very willing to help if you ask for it. You will learn a lot if you're under him.
Awful
Professor Stokes displayed a lack of professionalism, particularly towards the end of the academic year. In instances where he did respond, his replies were brief and impolite. Furthermore, he would make disparaging remarks about our project performance, despite being unhelpful when assistance was sought. Frankly, I wish the subject matter of the class had been taught by a more effective instructor.
Awful
This professor struggles to explain things clearly. Even though the ideas are straightforward, he makes it really hard to understand them. I didn’t think you could teach a class about talking to people and not know how to do it yourself. Also, his emails are a bit rude and not very helpful. I suggest you try to avoid taking his class.
Poor
He's a kind professor but he finds it hard to explain the course in a way that's easy to get. Get ready for a lengthy midterm that's about eight pages and study for it. If you don't, you won't make it. He counts who's in class only when loads are absent, so if you're there, you get credit. His lessons can be a bit long. On the other hand, the material you learn in this class will be very useful if you're planning to go into strategic communication.
