I had both 300 and 303 with Prof. Thompson and they're actually structured the same. Both are pretty easy though. He's super nice and helpful and he loves to talk to you if you visit him during office hours. He doesn't give papers and homework, just exams that are mostly essay format questions. These are easy as well because he gives a study guide. I would really recommend taking him!

Professor Thompson, is definitely one of the best professors in the Political Science department. His class was composed of easy exams and very interesting readings, without a lot of quizzes. He's incredibly passionate about the material and it shows in his lectures. If you need to take any kind of political theory class, he's the best choice. Also, he is really accessible outside of the class.

Prof. Thompson is pretty caring!!! You can see that he's very passionate about teaching as well. I got an A even though I didn't put much effort in class. He's super understanding that he's willing to adjust deadlines for students! Would highly recommend his class!!

I took Professor Thompson for POLI-300, 303, and 304. All your courses have the same format. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about everything he teaches. He really wants his students to succeed. Before the exam, he provides a study guide with all the possible questions and reviews the day before. So, he'll never deceive you. If you want to learn something, take his class.

He's one of the best teachers I've ever had. He truly cares about his students and really wants them to understand what he's teaching. Instead of making tough or confusing tests and quizzes, he concentrates on teaching us the information we need to know. If you have a chance to be in his class, you should totally do it. Overall, he's a very nice and funny guy.
