Class lecture was very understandable and he's a really good professor.
Awesome
For 8 weeks, I took child development online. Most of the things we discuss come from the textbook; thus, this makes you responsible for your own learning. It's honestly easier to take it over 16 weeks in person. You'll be fine as long as you do the discussions and quizzes on time.
Awesome
Prof. Denise is amazing! 10/10 would recommend! We had to switch to online class due to COVID, but she made the transition easy and organized!
Awesome
There's a lot of group discussion in Professor Blaha's class. Through this, you can interact with your classmates and it's very fun. Honestly, the book is not required since she will provide all the information in her PowerPoint slides.

Coordinator/Director
As the Cuyamaca College Child Development Center Coordinator, I organize, coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operation and supervision of the Child Development Center, (a campus lab school). These duties include (but aren't limited to): planning, marketing, funding, maintaining budgets, grant development, maintaining the facility and staff hiring, training, and development. I also serve as a liaison between the CDC, the Child Development and Family Studies Program, the college and the community at large.
Preschool Director
As the founding director of St. Vincent Preschool, I had the amazing experience of opening a brand new preschool. I was hired as the consulting director, and worked alongside the architects and contractors in designing the classrooms and playground. I single-handedly did the research and gathered the required documents to apply for the operating license through the Department of Social Services. I wrote policy, designed the parent and staff handbooks, articulated the program philosophy and vision, and hired and trained the teaching staff. Under my leadership, through hard work and dedication, I’m proud to say, the preschool program is a success!
