Dr. Hoot was an amazing teacher. Latin was kind of hard but he graded very lightly on tests and quizzes. I highly recommend taking this class!!

Professor Hoot is a great teacher! He loves his job and really gets excited about the Romans. There is a lot of homework but unlimited attempts, plus it helps you to learn the material. The textbook was written by him and is online, so it is free. You will have to participate in class because he will call on you, but it will help your grade. If you care to help yourself, he will care to help you too. There was also no oral exams.
