My experience consists of two parts: computer simulation consulting and software development. At the beginning of my career I did consulting work using mostly computer simulation as a tool. I managed projects and interacted directly with customers. During the second part of my career did software development, including managing groups of developers as well as projects. I have been an Adjunct Faculty member in the areas of computer skills and mathematics (mostly statistics).
Software Development Team Lead
Managed software development projects for a group of remote software developers working on a variety of projects in the areas of Advanced Planning and Scheduling software, which is a module of the Infor ERP SyteLine product. Responsible for timely product delivery, supervision of staff members within the context of projects, interactions with Product Marketing and Management, QA, Support, and other developers in Columbus, Ohio, and support of various company endeavors, such as User Conference, Sales demonstrations, and customer, associates, and Business Partner training. Retained ownership of the product enhancement list, including collection of items, prioritization of such items, and recommendations to Product Management of items to be included in future releases of the product.
