Serve as agency head of this law enforcement training academy instituted as a partnership between the College
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and the Hagerstown Police Department. Manage and oversee all functions of the academy including delivery of entry- level training and advanced training courses.\n\nPer College President’s mandate
designed and developed curriculum necessary to integrate six courses in the existing criminal justice program with Maryland state (MPCTC) training objectives to deliver the training necessary to achieve Maryland entry-level police certification and 27 credits of college coursework in 24 weeks.\n\nTransitioned testing from industry-specific
proprietary software platform to open-source on-line platform already in use for course delivery
to achieve significant yearly cost savings.\nDeveloped associates degree program in Conservation Law Enforcement and negotiated a\npartnership with Frostburg State University to develop a Law Enforcement Concentration in their existing Fish and Wildlife Studies program to which student could transfer to pursue their baccalaureate degree. This is the first program of its kind in Maryland.\n\nCreated and managed the delivery of numerous in-service courses
