Good
Very hard class, if you are a Psychology major and have no chemistry or biology experience, don't take this class!

I didn't find the class especially engaging, though he seems to care a lot. The grading criteria was very unclear, and the tests were on very specific details from lecture that even the best students were frustrated with at times.

Professor Presti is passionate. However, he ask way too much of the students. The three midterms is what ultimately makes up your grade. Even turning in all the assignments won't bring up your grade if fail one of them. Also, the midterms are made up of literally everything in lectures. Honestly this wasn't as interesting as I thought and way to hard to enjoy. Don't take his class.
Awesome
Prof Presti is not only a great professor, but a great human being in general. I recommend his course Drugs and The Brain no matter what your major is, although it obviously attracts bio and chem students a lot. Also, the class does not have a final exam, meaning essentially that everything is finished before dead week starts.

I took Prof. David's class several sems ago. His lectures are boring and his exams are really hard. Wouldn't recommend if you're bad at MC. I got a C+ in the class, but I guess some people just really aren't compatible with the material.
Awesome
For me, Professor Presti stands out as a great person and teacher. I found his classes very interesting. Also, he's extremely knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help his students to truly learn. As long as you do the readings and understand the course by reviewing the key concepts, you'll be fine.
Awesome
I loved Drugs and the Brain with Professor Presti. His lectures are always fun. Even if he buzzes on about plants. Also, you can tell he spends a lot of time preparing materials. I'm not an expert on Molecular and Cell Biology. However, I loved the content, especially the sections on common drugs like coffee and alcohol. Homework is not overloaded as well.
Awesome
This class is a ton of work. If you don't make it to every lecture and read everything, it's tough to do well. Even so, he and his teaching assistants are kind. The class is very fascinating as well. He explains complicated topics in an easy-to-understand way and is always ready to offer more help. This professor and his class is amazing.
