Professor Gottke will give us the following: 1) 5 written exams and a cumulative final. 2) 20 easy quizzes. 3) He is considered to be one of the best professors. 4) His Lectures are very clear and he is a very lenient grader. 5) We consider Gottke to be an Amazing professor. 6) I will try to get him for my future chem classes.

Good

Professor Gottke LOVES teaching chemistry. He is very passionate, organized, and approachable. You have to study to pass this class. There are five hard tests, daily quizzes, and a cumulative final. He gives partial credit for wrong answers. I truly learned lots in this class, mostly that I can learn chemistry and actually enjoy it. I highly recommend him.

Prof. Gotke explains class in an understandable manner and he makes himself available to students. If you do the practice sheets, it will be an easy A, and if you are punctual. Do the work and attend the lab because we cover a lot of material in a single class. If you miss classes, the book will not help you.

Poor

Chemistry is not my strongest subject and Professor Gottke didn't make it any easier. Lectures usually run 5-10 minutes over and he teaches a lot per class. He doesn't answer questions very clearly, he just gives more examples. Also, he doesn't review before tests. Quizzes are given at least once per week. For a general education class, I would not recommend taking this.
