Good
I took both micro and macro course with Dr. Hartman. Lecture videos are posted online which is very helpful if you miss the class. The large lecture hall format sucks though. Always be in class because he gives extra incentive questions every lecture. Tests are all multiple choice. You can get an A if you take notes, study the practice guides, and attend class.
Good
This is not a super interesting class but is not that. Will give a lot of extra points, drops the lowest in the test.
Poor
Very poor organization skills. She is writing down the notes as she is talking and it makes her hard to pay attention to. Not a very detailed class.
Good
For Professor Hartman's online class, there were two weekly assignments. The tests were a little difficult, but she offered extra credit though.
Good
Professor Hartman's lectures can be dry, a bit unorganized, and she can go a little fast. However, all lectures were posted online along with her notes. There are only three exams and one final, but she takes away the lowest grade on the exam. Also, she gives additional credit for attending class. In addition, the practice exams are very helpful for an actual exam. Just study a little and you'll be fine. Overall, she's a good professor.
Awesome
Professor Hartman's class is very easy. Just study a bit for the exams. She drops exams and gives up to a 10% bonus on them. Honestly, I didn't go to class, so I can't comment on the lectures. However, she seems nice and is more than fair.
Good
Professor Hartman is a good teacher. However, she can be a bit boring at times. Her lecture notes skim over a lot of important information without going into detail. On the other hand, she's very easy to reach out to if you have any questions about the material. She drops the lowest score on the test so, most people don't have to take the final, which is good.
Good
Professor Hartman is a wise choice for Economics. I took the class online. The assessment was clear and easily accessible if I had any questions. There were several different things due throughout the semester, but none were overwhelming though. I suggest you do the homework and study halfway for the exams, then you'll be fine.
Good
Doctor Hartman is a very caring professor. She wants everyone to get a good grade. She offers a lot of extra credit too. Her class consists of online weekly quizzes and bi-weekly written homework. There's also a group project and a semi-interesting current events papers. Her exams were not that difficult but are a time crunch if you're not totally prepared.
Good
Professor Hartman's lectures can sometimes be boring along with the recitation. What you put in is what you get out. On the other hand, it's a great class though.
Awesome
For an advanced Economics class, this was incredibly simple. I feel like I learned a ton during the term but didn't ever feel too stressed. I'd jump at any chance to take another one of her classes. She's definitely the best teacher I've had for basic micro/macro Economics in this school.
