Welch
I was a History and Anthropology double major at Texas A&M University. My academic focus is in American Military History and Conflict Archaeology. My most recent employment was as the Senior Laboratory Technician at the Center for the Study of the First Americans under Dr. Michael Waters. I am currently employed by Texas A&M University as a Full-Time Staff member in the Sterling C. Evans and Evans Annex Libraries. My Undergraduate Thesis research focused on primary source documents from WWII POW Camps in Texas from German prisoner perspectives. My primary objective as a historian and archaeologist is to tell the story of people who would otherwise be lost in the course of history. My passion for understanding history and the people that made it drives me in my day-to-day life.
