Awesome
The greatest professor I have had. I loved organic chemistry when it was understandable. He holds weekly sessions to get feedback. His exams are easy and not hard. OKay professor.
Awful
Professor Singleton assigned weekly homework that requires you to play Where's Waldo with the incoherent packets he hands out to find the correct information or equations and he will still mark you down. Nobody knows how to study for the tests. In fact, nobody knows what we are learning. Avoid his class.
Awful
Easily the worst chemistry professor here. He handed out a bunch of papers and problem sets, and he doesn't teach any of the content on them. There's a outline of his notes, but they're not only useless, they're also confuses. Stay away from the class.
Awful
I absolutely wouldn't recommend him. I learned more about how much money he earns using the techniques rather than learning the techniques. When he tries to lecture, he isn't even understandable so you end up just zoning out.
Awful
His lectures do not make sense at all. Now I'm taking the lab with non-majors (Chem 238) and I got an A. The lab itself is fine, but the lecture component is challenging, and he made it more so than it needed to be. I learned everything he's supposed to teach in CHEM 228. I'm delighted I'm no longer a chemistry major.
