Dan is the senior member of Fife Cameron Trial Lawyers. His expertise has been recognized by the Law Society of Upper Canada by certifying him as a Specialist in Civil Litigation.
Since he was called to the Bar, Dan has essentially limited his practice to litigation matters. He has conducted numerous trials - both jury and non-jury - throughout the province. He has also appeared several times before the Ontario Court of Appeal and has brought proceedings in the Supreme Court of Canada.
In addition to his practice, Dan sits as a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court. He is also an Instructor in the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.
Dan has been involved in directing training sessions for lawyers as well as clients. He is frequently retained to defend matters for an institutional client. He is regularly retained to assist other lawyers in developing strategies for assisting clients and preparing for trial.
Dan graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1988 and from Laurentian University in 1985 with a degree in Economics/Political Science – having won the award for highest graduating student in Economics.
Outside of the office, Dan enjoys playing golf and hockey in addition to cheering on the Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue!
