I received a grant from the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Baruch College to do research on gentrification in Astoria
Queens and design a module for faculty to use to teach about gentrification. I also directed
edited and produced a short documentary looking at the demographic and cultural change that the neighborhood is presently undergoing.
