Awful
Professor Malliet is a horrible professor. He rambles about off topic subjects. Then he expects every single student to participate in class which results in long and useless class period. He has extremely poor organization skills. I'm confident a piece of cardboard could teach better than this guy. People end up just coming to class to be marked in attendance, and leave.
Average
Professor Malliet was okay. He can be quite rude and brash, but he's overall a nice enough guy. He likes to discredit "academics" about their stances, so that can get a bit repetitive and annoying. His lecture deck, quizzes, and exams are provided to him by the textbook company, so he lectures based on his experiences. There are many group papers, but is an easy class overall
Awful
First of all, I would say that Professor Malliet, is the worst that I've ever met at Iowa State University. Actually, I feel that I've wasted my life in every class since he did not teach anything. Instead, he shared the three same stories and talked about his love for Diet Coke. I wish I could go into more detail about how awful he was as a professor. Just believe me.
Awful
Professor Malliet proves to be a challenging educator. He displays a penchant for condescension in front of the class. The quizzes given throughout the year diverge significantly from the content covered in the exams, both of which are crafted by him. Determining the relevance of information becomes a formidable task, exacerbated by the unwieldy 300+ slide lecture deck that proves exceedingly difficult to navigate.
