I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program at George Mason University, from which I also received my Master's degree. I recently launched Strategies for Effective Teamwork, an LLC that will serve as a vehicle for my data-driven consulting work.

My consulting portfolio has three buckets that are built to intersect I/O Psychology with each of the following (separately and equally!): Cybersecurity Teamwork, Employee Engagement & Retention, and Sports Performance of both individuals and teams. My approach is to collect data and use that data in a way that identifies high-priority challenges and relevant strategies to address those challenges.

My own line of research is on the unintended impact of employee rewards and recognition--the attitudes/perceptions of non-recipients of either public recognition as well as unfair rewards in teams. I plan to pilot a Risk/Benefit of Rewards Survey with companies in the coming year--let me know if you're interested.

Additionally, for four years, I was part of the research team on a government-funded research project for four years where our goal was to identify socio-behavioral strategies for teamwork effectiveness of cybersecurity incident response teams (CSIRTs). We targeted strategies that help managers to improve the selection and training of cybersecurity analysts. I now facilitate workshops on CSIRTeamwork effectiveness.

I'm always open to talking and seeing how I can partner with experts in other fields to, ultimately, help people work smarter while smiling about it!
