Awful
Prof. O'leary seems to be faking it until he makes it. Sadly, he can't make it at all. He doesn't give instructions. He simply reads assignments only. Book is terrible as well. Homework is based off the book's code which is riddled with errors. He doesn't even bother to compile it himself. He's lazy and disorganized. He doesn't seem to know his stuff as well.
Awesome
Prof. Daniel explains topics thoroughly and he's very easy to understand. He also gives enough amount of time to try a problem on your own and he's very willing to answer any questions. If you're confused with something, you just have to raise your hand and he will help you out. He cares about everyone's understanding and he really goes over every problem in-depth.
Awful
There's a lot going on in Professor O'Leary's class. If you can get his attention and understand the material, then you will be fine. But if you can't understand or get a hold of him, you won't do well. There was a lot of confusion, his lectures needed help, he had a poor attitude, and was not willing to communicate with students.
Awesome
Prof. Daniel is amazing! After taking the course, I'm pretty confident in MySQL and MongoDB. Prepare to work hard, but there's always plenty of time for other lessons. He is adaptable (within reason) and generous with extra credit. He dealt with the COVID situation admirably! I would recommend him because you will certainly learn a lot.
Awesome
For the first half of the class, I really enjoyed it. The lectures were fantastic. Because of the virus, class was switched to online; however, online wasn't as successful. After a few weeks, things improved online, but the first few weeks were difficult. Nonetheless, I learned a great deal, and Prof. Oleary gave me a lot of extra credit.
Awesome
Professor O'Leary's lectures are good. This is important because textbooks are not good. The homework was difficult, but you can redo it to get a better grade. Overall, he's a great one.
