For 4 years
I ran the Walton Global Sustainability Solutions Services (G3): http://sustainabilitysolutions.asu.edu/programs/solutionsservices/ \n\nIn this role
I managed all aspects of GS3
including strategy and operations
initiatives/program management
business development
client acquisition and relationship management
project management and school/faculty relationships. I had budget responsibility
both revenue and cost aspects. In the last 1/2 year
I stepped aside to concentrate on specific solutions projects. Now
I've retired from ASU so that my wife and I can enjoy our time and travel extensively around the world
mostly on bicycle.

I recently retired from ASU so that my wife and I can travel extensively around the world
mostly by cycle touring. We hope to begin our 1st tour across the U.S. in early April for 5 to 7 months. We hope to cycle across the U.S. primarily along \"Bicycle Route 66\" and a path through Michigan
Ontario
New York and Massachusetts. Then
back across the country via the \"Northern Tier\" ending near Seattle in the fall. 8-10
000 miles in all. We'll be posting via a Facebook page or other social media platforms as we make our way. Then...whatever life brings as the next adventure! First
we have three months of preparation to get our personal situation together so that we can be gone for an extended time. I will post the link to whatever site we decide to use for our trip experience posting. Please
join us along the way.\n\nI am sure that I am not done with sustainability
innovation and entrepreneurship. I'm sure I will be involved in some capacity: research
education
practice
supporting others
etc. But for now
Just Ride!
