Good
It was a pretty harmless class experience with Prof. Bach. Exams are almost entirely based on lectures, so I suggest you show up in class. He's a nice person, but he kinda gives dry lectures. There's nothing too exciting, but it's pretty far from a bad experience.
Awesome
Bach is quite a funny professor whether he wants to be or not. The quizzes heavily weight the final grade, however read the book and you'll do fine, he curve everything just a tad. There is only a few questions from the textbooks, however it's absolutely important to read the books, focus on the lectures, and study.
Poor
Doctor Bach will only have six grades in. So, if you don't read the books, your grade will be pulled down. You must go to class and the amount of assigned reading is a lot This means that, you must read the books and go to lecture. His class is consists of PowerPoint slides with four sentences on it. Then, you need to listen on the remaining topics. If you are not an auditory learner, this will not be a good option for you.
Awesome
Professor Bach is relaxed. His lectures can seem dry though, but he really knows what he's talking about. I never read the textbook and used spark notes for the other books and did well. He rounded my 88.8 up to an A without me asking for it. He's a great guy and I'd recommend going to lectures and reading so you get the most out of the class.
Good
Professor Bach is great, I loved him. He loves to tell stories and tell jokes, it's not the best jokes though. His exams are mostly from lectures, so make good notes. He also has PowerPoints that are very useful as well. Overall, I highly recommend taking his class. I wish I had taken him before on History 105.
