Awesome

Professor Partin is one of my favorite professors here. The lectures are great and he has an equally great sense of humor, throwing in little astronomy facts and jokes from time to time. There was always a good amount of extra credit in the class and everyone had the ability to get grades in the class. Really just a smart and nice guy. Also make sure to not buy the book! It's online.

The class is really easy, and there's a new lecture every day of class that he uploads directly onto canvas. Not too many tests, and the lowest grade gets dropped. You get extra credit on attendance and test grades can get curved for the entire class at times. I'd take Professor Partin for 1040 if I could. Recommended!

Good

The entire textbook can be read online for free. The power points are posted on canvas and used for lectures, additional information during the lectures is included on tests. Some of the test questions may be tricky or confusing but this class is an easy A as long as you go to class. Gives generous extra credit for attendance. I would definitely take him again.
