I had Prof. McCane's class online. The syllabus had HWs and stuff that we didn't even do at all. We had a few random assignments which were pretty easy though. I didn't give him a 5 because the class was quite disorganized. However, it was totally an easy one. He also allows you to only watch one of all the movies he required to watch.

My film is about the pain parents experience after loosing a loved one to violence. The film also deals with the "no snitching" code which contributes to the violence because people in the neighborhoods are afraid to speak up.
We are still a work in progress as we have technical improvements to make, yet and still we are getting very positive comments and expect to play in some excellent festivals later this year and next.West Los Angeles College
Adjunct Professor
Senior Cinema Adjunct faculty, responsible for the creation of the adjunct faculty pool and curriculum design used for the cinema media art certificate program under former Department Chair, Jay Jordan. Design and instruct online and hybrid courses using multimedia applications such as Final Cut Pro and digital video production. Students learn cinema history; screenwriting, content development, blogging and we discuss social media techniques and trends.

I also documented several elements of Teena Marie's career in the early 2000s where she wasn't getting much exposure.

How a child is like a piece of clay, we (society) mold him or her into something that blossoms or something that goes to waste. For me that was the metaphor that had me weeping inside. For we can't seem to get it right with so many young people in today's world...too many lost to violence, wasting away, hurting those around who loved them. Having covered the aftermaths of Virginia Tech, Tucson and Newtown, and knowing what you have witnessed firsthand in your years teaching high school kids, I couldn't agree more with the point of your film: Enough is enough. Mothers in particular are fed up losing their children. Is anyone listening??? I hope this film gets a big distribution and adds to the dialogue that so many cowards hiding behind their fears need to hear. Mazel Tov on completing this, my friend.
