Professor Wallsmith is probably a good class instructor based on other reviews. She sucks online and had no idea how to use d2i.

Do not respond to messages so your questions can never be answered. The paper is 20% of your grade, the choice of a film is not good at all for what you need to write the paper on, and there's almost no instruction for it. There is weekly quizzes / vocabulary activities, two exams, a project and a 6-page paper. Don't take her class online, she's very judgmental.

Professor Wallsmith grades assignments slowly. She often loses papers, and will not answer questions promptly. Her lectures have nothing to do with the course materials covered in the books assigned, nor useful when it comes to test and quizzes, with 100 questions. In addition, she doesn't explain the projects very well.

Avoid this professor. Seriously, don't put yourself through the stress. She doesn't reply to emails. She doesn't understand how to use D2L, and hands out incredibly tough homework assignments for a basic class without guidance. It's a bad class. Honestly, I usually get an A and she's the absolute worst.
