Dr. Stephenson is one of the best professors I've ever had. People who complain about her are likely holding personal grudges against her because they didn't appreciate her forthright demeanor, difficult tests, or ability to test your thinking. Dr. S is a professor I remember from when I graduated in 2018. She is very concerned if she sees that you care and put in effort. It won't be an easy A; you'll have to put in some effort.
