The material for this class was overly tough but Professor Karavias is a fair grader for the most part. But good luck if she doesn't like you. I started the semester with a low F and ended with a C so it is definitely possible to pass. Don't expect to get an A, maybe a B if you're a genius, but it's passable and I learned a lot. Do the suggested book problems!

Professor Karavias's class was somewhat challenging. It is made up of lectures for two days and gives an open note true or false test at the end of class. Then, she gives open note lab exams as well which are kinda hard but manageable. I typically do not like science classes but I felt like I learned a lot and I really liked Geology.
