  As a lifelong learner

  I am excited to continue my clinical psychology education as a research assistant on an imaging study about psychosis at UC Davis before hopefully continuing on to a PhD program in the same field. As I completed my Masters degree at Northwestern University

  I was a research coordinator for another imaging study on TMS for healthy controls with indications for the psychosis population

  as well as participating in clinic meetings for the first episode psychosis clinic at the university.

  The PCC is a group of psychologists and supporting staff that conduct a wide variety of psychological assessment and consultation with children

  adolescents

  adults

  and older adults. Undergraduate interns will work with PCC clients

  administering and scoring testing protocol for those suspected of having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This work is supervised through individualized instruction

  and interns will be given opportunities to further study areas related to their work with the clients and to observe psychologists in their work. By the end of this volunteer experience

  interns will have administered a number of psychological tests to a wide age-range of clients and will better understand the fundamental elements of psychological testing and measurement. Interns will also have the opportunity to work closely with practicing psychologists including involvement in psychological consultations and evaluations within the clinical setting. \n

  I was on the committee to reform this student group and subsequently became a member of the executive board along with several other students. I was in charge of organizing events and coordinating student participation in the new organization. I also designed a group logo and t-shirts.
