  the Faculty Affairs in the office of the Provost in collaboration with Information Technology Services replaced the time-consuming

  paper-driven faculty leaves system with a process that enables submission and review of applications online.\n\nThe online Faculty Careers System has eliminated a time lag of approximately five days per transaction on approximately 6

  500 annual transactions

  along with the need to maintain paper files. Review and approval now takes 30 minutes per transaction.\n\nThe system has increased efficiency

  accuracy

  and timeliness of the faculty leave management process.
