I have had a very satisfying, varied life experience. I began in electronic engineering at the University of Regina. I then spent almost 10 years producing and raising a family while supporting myself as a self-employed consultant in housing. I produced blueprints for housing using computer technology much of which I programmed myself.
During graduate school I began teaching at the University and did software development contracting to enhance my scholarships and support my growing family.
After obtaining my PhD I taught full time for SIAST and continued sessional teaching at the university. In 2005 I secured a full time position in what is now ICT as a teaching and learning technology consultant. I was instrumental in bringing an number of new innovative technologies to T&L on campus and in support of distance education. I developed working relationships with a number of researchers on campus and co-authored a number of research papers resulting in publication and conference presentation.
