The Rosenwald Park Campaign is an effort to recognize philanthropist Julius Rosenwald and a number of Rosenwald-funded schools with a monument and national parks designation. Along with Educator and Tuskeegee University Founder Booker T. Washington
Rosenwald helped open nearly 5
000 schools for descendants of free and formerly enslaved African-Americans through the South.
