Prof. Joseph's tests are more conceptual rather than problem based and he gives very informative lectures. He's also accessible outside of class. At least once a week, I was in his office for Chem 1C. He also puts in effort and time to help his students. He even opened up extra office hours to give everyone the opportunity to ask questions.
