In addition, I worked with students outside of the classroom in a number of roles (e.g., academic advisor, faculty internship supervisor, men’s club basketball faculty advisor, and honors thesis mentor).

Cultivated strategic partnerships with a variety of organizations to develop satellite programs in Charleston County outside of the downtown community. Recruited 400+ program and policy volunteers and authored/awarded a number of grants to provide scholarships, supplies, and transportation for the afterschool, cultural arts programs, and summer camp programs based in the Cannon Street YMCA facility.

Designed structure of project component of the Business of Sport (BOS) program and mentored 90+ students as they completed marketing-related research projects for organizations operating in the sport industry (e.g., Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, Verizon Wireless, CU Athletics, Vail Resorts, USA Rugby).
