I am a sculptor who specializing in clay, precious metals, and casting. My work often finds the humor in the grotesque though my commentary of humanity through the use of themes from pop culture. My body of work enjoys a relationship between my attention to detail and quality and my pieces’ relationship to the viewer. I furthered my understanding of ceramic practices pertaining to sculpture and slip casting as it pertains to the contemporary art world and popular culture. I also taught several beginning ceramic classes as well as working with the UND Living Museum handling artwork and curating exhibitions.

I studied fine art studio practices as well as achieving a dual minor in art history and business administration.
Graduate Teaching Assistant
I was responsible for the complete instruction of various beginning handbuilding ceramic courses, teaching them design principles and ceramic studio practices and techniques. I also was responsible for the firing of the student work and the maintenance of the glaze lab and glaze chemistry.
